Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Geden Natura, the Group for the Study and Dissemination of the Natural Environment, a non-profit organization dedicated to studying and preserving our natural surroundings.
One of their projects involves installing nesting boxes to help insectivorous birds, which often struggle to find cavities to build their nests. They also place shelters for bats, which are essential animals for our ecosystem.
Both insectivorous birds and bats act as natural insecticides, helping to control insect populations and maintain the natural balance of the environment.
Thanks to this collaboration, we now have seven nesting boxes and three bat shelters around Cal Vila, which will undoubtedly contribute to the well-being of local biodiversity.
We are deeply grateful for the outstanding work of @geden.natura. Thank you so much for helping us care for and protect nature!
