The origins of our winery can be traced back to the 18th century when Pere Morgades acquired Cal Vila and Can Morgades. Today, the winery is located in Castellví de la Marca, which is situated in the heart of the Catalonian region of Penedès.
Following a long tradition of winemakers, today’s cava can be attributed to the visionary efforts of our grandmother who spearheaded and perfected a production process that adheres to the méthode champenoise. Her mark is felt till this day as our family continues to use the very equipment that made the first batches of cava.
Our cava counts on the following local varieties, which can also be bottled in limited editions: macabeu, xarel·lo, parellada and trepat. Organic viticulture.
